We’re making our very own
homemade, organic paper! Get this, we’re giving all those poor, unused, on-campus paper print-outs new life! In an effort to reduce the volume of paper waste on campus, we’re salvaging the unclaimed print-outs and coversheets from Evans, WCL, and the SCC and recycling it to use for our flyers.
All this fun and revelry will be going down at John’s pad Thursday (9-30) at 7:30pm. For directions contact either: John or Melissa
See you there!

We will be screening the film
FRESH tonight (9-28-10) in Cain Hall at 7pm.
-New Thinking About What We’re Eating-
“FRESH celebrates the farmers, thinkers and business people across America who are re-inventing our food system. Each has witnessed the rapid transformation of our agriculture into an industrial model, and confronted the consequences: food contamination, environmental pollution, depletion of natural resources, and morbid obesity. Forging healthier, sustainable alternatives, they offer a practical vision for a future of our food and our planet.”

We do not know where our food comes from and we are not doing anything about it. We live in a time where the system has gone awry. Our children’s lunches are being marshaled in our schools. When a child can’t eat a PB&J sandwich, something has gone wrong. Who are we as Texans when we cannot grill a steak or eat chips and salsa because we don’t know where it’s from or what’s in it?
