Craft Workday=Fun!

Today, Sunday October 19,  at 2pm at 404 College Main, Apt. B (behind Northgate), we will be crafting at Nicole’s house. Bring art supplies, non-recyclable or craft items. I don’t know about you but having a day to just create and have fun (reminds me of childhood) sounds amazing!

Also, if you gave a shirt for tie dye I will be taking them for you to pick up.

If you need further clarification about directions, non-recyclable items or how to volunteer for *Campus Sustainability Day, Oct. 22, Rudder, 10-4pm* feel free to call me.

Also, please attend Tuesday’s (Oct. 21) Sustainability meeting in MSC 229 at 8:30 pm to finalize volunteering and hear from A&M’s Sustainability Officer, Kelly Wellman, on how Campus Sustainability will go down.

Sustainability Workday: Tie Dye, Polar Bears & Chalking

We will be having a sustainability workday this Sunday, October 12, 4pm at Nicole’s house. Her address is 404 College Main, Apt. B (behind Northgate).

Afternoon Agenda (4pm):

  1. Tie Dye- We will have a make-up tie dye session for those who could not make it last weekend.  Please bring a white t-shirt and be on time. If you cannot make it, but still plan to volunteer and want a shirt, call or email me.
  2. Polar bears- We will be constructing cutouts of polar bears and making polar bear costumes. Yes, you read that correctly. If you want to know more and are intrigued by what this potential demonstration will be, come on Sunday!
  3. Painting- Mime boxes, banners, and anything else needed to be painted will get done.

Evening Agenda (7pm):

  1. Location- Meet at Sul Ross Statue (front of the Academic Bldg) at 7pm. Do not be late!
  2. Chalking- Chalking of all sorts will take place, i.e. classrooms, walkways.

Important: If you have tie dye, chalk, staplers, staples, paint (house paint and/or banner paint), paintbrushes, white cardboard, scissors or white sweats you no longer want, let me know.  Seriously.

If you have any questions call me at (210) 310-6177 or email at amelie66@neo.tamu.edu.
